Whats the biggest you can drive on a normal drivers license?

Anything up to 3.5 tonne unless you passed your test before 1997 where you can drive up to 7.5 tonne

Don't forget that's the laden weight of the vehicle not the gross. If you get a 3.5 tonne vehicle and fill it up and the Police catch you they might take you to a weighing station and tell you to take all your stuff out of the van and arange to get it collected. It has happened to people we know with horses....
