Don't know if anyone else has been following the News on the Securitas Depot Raid back earlier this year, they've just nicked a few more people:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/5115774.stm

But it appears £30 million is still missing There's loads about it on BBC Website and a timeline can be found here:

http://search.bbc.co.uk/cgi-bin/search/results.pl?scope=all&edition=d&q=Securitas+Raid

Seems like a whole mix of people did it from who they've arrested some people are more professional than others in terms of when and how they were caught.

I'm sure Mr Crowe finds it fascinating, what about everyone else?

Discussion/Banter Welcome.

You cannot just invest money into a busness without someone questioning it.Usually the Vat man wanting to know where the bloody hell it came from. Also i think the tax man would pay an interest.

One of the guys who did it worked on the door at my dads bar, quit 2 weeks before the robbery was carried out though!

Newspapers gave my dad 300 quid for a photo of him!

Yo can invest money into a small firm abroad, such as buying a bar, then the money will be laundered, and when you sell it, the money is clean

I just find it quite interesting reading about how they planned it and that... was the same as the JCB and Millenium Dome with that Diamond - loved watching all the tv shows about it and reading about it

I know, well, knew! John Fowler, went to primary school with his kids(Amy is FIT!!! ) and more recently we used him as one of our traders at work, he was a good buyer of used cars and is a genuinely nice chap.

On a completely separate note I heard that large amounts of cash can be laundered through Russian banks, where the mafia have a LOT of control and you'd expect to see 25% of the money back(apparently).

Sam, ask me about it on Wednesday, I'll be able to say all about it then.
