thinkin off lowering my car 60mm on gmax kit with speedlines just wondering iff it would be ok or would it rub. comments plz

mine 50mm with speedlines et45...no pronblemo...even when fully loaded

Speedlines are the perfect offset so you won't get any scrubbage

My old Corsa was -60mm on Gmax with Speedlines, see my garage for more pics...



It did rub occassionaly but only because I used a 5mm spacer on the rear (making it ET44) The centre cap on the Speedlines fouled the centre pin on the hub of the rear brake drum and wouldn't go on otherwise.

i've just bought speedlines and coilovers and was thinging about going lower than 60mm

take it i'll ne some arch mods then?

my mates, justrials2 off here
its about 70mm on coilovers

have u done arch work cus mines the same set up as urs an mine doesnt rub but ive already done arch work

mine that low, my wheels are et45 and dont scrub and thats without any arch mods up front

no not done any thing to the arches think thye need a bit doin only rubbin on inner arch

ok i done have that black inner arch i had to take min out cus i had 17's an lowered 60mm an it was rubbin on that

i no mine used to rub on the front with the 17's till i took the inner arch out

mine on 17 inch n 60mm gmax front rubbed on the wings.. altho that was et 45...

no but dont take it out coz then u get crap in the door shuts behind the rubber n even up the inside of the pillar. anoying and very dirty

You can use 40 profile tyres as well, that will help matters.

A bit more yeah. Makes the diameter smaller than a standard 185/60/14 though, so you have no rub and the cars a bit quicker
