Well, as some of you may know the guy who painted SteveW's car wasn't 100% about the standard of his work. So we decided to re-spray the car yesterday afternoon. We got the car stripped in about an hour and everything set up for paint...



Then we rubbed everything back and Tom filled in the dents that I personally couldn't even see, neither could Steve He's a perfectionist though, which is great!

Here's Steve wondering why we are re-spraying his car for the second time in 2 weeks







Time to mask up and wipe down...



Job Done



Some of you may notice in the above picture that a small ammount of primer was painted on in a few patches.

We mistakenly worked with the doors wide open on a warm summers evening with the lights on. That led to disaster striking



At that point Tom decided to give up until during the day as there was no point in trying to paint while there were bugs in the room.

So the bonnet has to be sanded down again and re-painted, no biggie becuase the result was fantastic!

am sooo pleased with the outcome of this. Tom is a madman.

Going to put it back together and mop it tomorow.. give it a long time to dry that way
