hello all

Ok so I’ve already left a fair few posts so it too late to welcome me (Pete – Aka “Fonz” ex gf nickname which has stuck) but I’m yet to divert your attention to my car Sara.

Well I’ve uploaded loads of pics in my garage which would be easier to view than post the whole lot!

In short: bought a Sting off a mate back in May, this was fine until I crash it!
Wet road, following a mate to unknown destination…..he overtook, I followed, lost control when I pulled back in!

the rest is history – please see garage!

So given the crash went for the same again to keep insurance down. Moved here in Sussex to work for a year in-between second and third year study saved some money and started to personalise my car.

As I personalised I did so on the weekends, listening to Radio1, as such I listened to Sara Cox’s show and thought the name appropriate for my car.

As you can see from the picture I have been quite busy!
Fully fitted footwell, neon and boot lit Blue NEONs

…..and also a self made gear stick and handbrake gaiter. £5 leather from Brighton and a day sewing! Saves a bit and makes it much more personal!

Recently had her in the bodyshop for the Irmscher kit, but they didn’t like the Combat 1 skirts (thanks to MillerCorsa for supplying them!) plan to fit them when I find time in Aug/Sept before I return to university!

Next is an induction kit and an exhaust, considering going badgeless grill, and smoked headlamps and rear lamps (anyone able to Photoshop?), and obviously needs proper alloys (anyone wanting those??) and I hope to lower once I get the money.

Being 1.0 12V her performance isn’t worthy of much but I love her

when I have the time and money (after graduation) plan to upgrade engine (watch this space for posts in the years to come!)

I know I’ve mixed in all manner of posts here, my wanted list, what’s on offer and snap day but hey, can’t please everyone.

That me, its my introduction.
Comments welcome on Sara, and any photoshops would be most grateful! (I will post correctly once I have money to amke a decision!)

Another few small things (all IMO):

Put the standard petrol cap on

Debadge the rear

Clear side repeaters

I'd change the interior aswell but you obviously like it

Looks nice and clean otherwise

He asked for comments and peoples opinions, why are you trying to always start an argument with me?

And the only thing I'm guna change on my car is the wheels, no point modding a 1.2 8v Merit TBH
