I've tried priming them and god knows, seems like i have to do a series of twists and turns but i'm lost.
Thanks chaps!

That is how you adjust the damping.
By the looks of it, a + is a 180 degree turn.
With ++++ being the maximum of 720 degrees.

yeh 1 turn is 180 degree... so if you turn it 4 times 720 degrees... there at maximum hardness or softness... depending what way you have turned it...

BUT these can be adjusted on the car even when in place, these are rear shocks.
My old koni's had to be taken off and adjusted then re fitted but my new set can be adjusted on the car with the koni adjuster nob!
I thought just normal priming would be all thats needed..........but i have no idea, the instrctions make no sense to me at all.
Might just take it to a garage.

you have to fully extend the shock, pull off a little white ring thing, fully compress them, then turn into place, have three settings and it should click into each postion, then fully extend, replace white thingy and fit
thats what mine did anyway

rears are red yes???
off the car, fully extend, remove the bumpstop a metal coat hanger pushed through the holes provided works quite well, then fully compress the shock. twist it until you feel it "engage" the adjuster, now you twist to adjust (remaining compressed) when you're done, fully extend and replace the bumpstop

I fitted koni reds and yellows on an astra and I didn't pull out any white thing?
You just push the piston right in and then turn.
You will feel it.
Unless the corsa ones are different.

Yeah i pushed the piston right in mate, it does get tighter the more. Am i meant to tighten it all the way clockwise then pull it out and push back in and it should rebound out eventualy by itself after applying pressure to the piston,,,,,
I thought with these being adjustable on the car it would be a simple case of priming then and away you go....or can you adjust how soft you want soft to be for example when its on the car.........

I've just been out, turned them all the way clockwise, pulled out the poston which was hard as feck, then fully compressed in and the piston wont come out again on its own.

That means its set as hard as they'll go.
Very stiff and hard to pull out.
On car it'll be fine.

Ahhh, i just assumed that the piston should come back out when you depress it else its not doing its job is it?

When i set mine up I was going to have it on the hardest setting, it was that stiff that the piston would'nt come back out. Think I set it about about 360 in the end. I would'nt put it on hardest mate it will be shockingly hard.

Its not that hard just push the piston down, turn it to adjust it then fit them. But trust me the stiffest setting will be horrible, thats if you can even get the piston out.

Just make sure they are both set to the same setting.
Springs on the car exert much more of a force than you do trying to pull them out.
I'd recommend putting them about half way.
If it really doesn't suit its only 2 bolts to get it back off.
