Need something for the mini cos the standard tape players shit!! Being a really bumpy drive I would think a CD player wouldn’t be the right way to go because it would skip continuously.

So now thinking along the lines of something I-pod compatible...but I have no idea about these, not really looked at them up til now

Does anyone have one or know what to get??? Does it come as a CD/tuner with some sort of Ipod line-in on the front of it or is there another way around connectivity???

Im a bit of a Alpine fiend when it comes to car audio so would like Alpine unless there’s a competitively priced alternative that comes highly recommended!!??

Posted here rather than Ice/Electrics cos more people are likely to look/reply in here!!

Just a quick search, I think you can get Ipod adaptors for headunits anyway. I noticed a Pioneer one anyway which im going to get for mine.

Looks the ticket mate Any idea where the connection is on that one? The ones I have seen which plug in at front dont do much to impress!!

theres a fly lead that comes out of the back and the lead plugs into that then into the ipod

you can link an ipod straight up to the mini headunit i work for bmw it's just a case of buying a lead

Yeah its for a real mini, not fake bmw one

Alpine one looks class...same layout as my own CD player in other car. I could route the cables into the glove box & keep the i-pod in there
