i saw one of the nicest examples get written off locally the other day, nightstage rally,
a lady unhappy with the noise of the cars all night decided to park her car sideways in the middle of the road.. mk2 was doing 90+ before he saw the parked car..
such a shame, carbon bonnet, yellow, 2ltr, 25k's worth easily
shame

What a cunt, theyre all warned about rallies. If they dont like it they should complain to the organising comity. When I was marshalling a few weeks back and old bloke pulled up at our control in his mondeo and started going on about people being killed just as a volvo amazon came steaming round the corner at about 60 and slammed its brakes on, nearly sliding into the old mans mondeo. His whole life must have flashed before him bless him lol.

the thing is, they arent being written off as much now, people are repairing fucked shells, so that dead one will probably become someones spare shell

yes they got away, but the organiser, who i also know pretty well is recieved death threats from the owner of the mk2!
he swerved missed the parked car and hit a bank!!
yeah the outside of this shell it immaculate but the underneath needs some work hence why he's taken all the lights etc off so everything can be treated to make sure he dont have to worry about it a year to come

why? not like the organiser put the car there, seems like the driver needs to seriously sort himself out
