my integras group 20, so im guessing an S2000 will be 20 aswell.
Think imprezas are 18-19, RX7 are 20 and im not sure about M3, but probably 20 too.
The quotes for cars are not all about the group tho.

Insurance comapies have a tendancy to shit themselves when you mention the word imprezza.
Some you have to be over 25 for and wouldnt touch me but they would insure me (cheaply!) on an m3 roadster Which IMO would be alot more dangerous than a subaru
Insruance is odd and it REALLY helps to phone around. When i was looking at P1's i was getting quotes of £3k+ Rang one company £1500fc So best to tryt as many insurers as you can

Why would an S2000 be group 20 and a scooby be 18/19
Mine is a Jap import WRX and I pay £enough

Your right jambo imprezas have a bad insurance rep and are not nice to insure unless your a fir bit older.
If the car is an import that wil affect the premium too, so it depends what you want.
Big difference aswell is where you live, and where the car will be kept.

UK spec imprezas are 200bhp remember not a supercar, the S2000 is much more of a 'sportscar'.

Bit more than 200bhp, but i'm fairly certain the Jap WRX's are group 20

All Classic WRX's are jap imports and are 265bhp standard IIRC

S2000's are grp 20, will be probably due to parts being more expensive and the fact its a convertible its not all about whats faster etc.
