i have a 1.2 8v with a g-max filter cold air feed and a 3 inch sportex backbox it now goes up to 100mph and does 60 in 14.5 seconds



is something away to go wrong or wot cos some people have told me an engine runs really good when its away to die

you can count 0-60 times in your head.. and it wont do 100mph unless you're going down hill

Agree with you Jas16v. My 1.2 8v couldn't do 0-60 in 14.5 seconds even if you launched it with a jet pack downhill

You didnt have a g-max filter cold air feed and a 3 inch sportex backbox.

Maybe the air's thinner in Scotland and so there's less drag?

the air is less dense up north, so yeah, there would be less drag

however, less dense means less power (if thats possible?)

i was wondering if something was wrong cos i got told if an engine was running really good it is away to die but a medal would be nice aswell

speedo's are rarely accurate, if it does explode a new 1.2 8v should cost 20p to replace

also if you have different size wheels you will get an inaccurate reading on your speedo
