Skysports page on it

I cant decide if this will be a good signing or not. OK he wont be all that expensive (about 6mil) so it might be worth the risk, and he has played in the Prem before. I just cant help thinking it could be another player who had one good season and will end up playing shite next year for us.

Plus if this is the only forward Rafa buys (I doubt it though) then I seriously wont be happy, as we still need someone who will bang in 20+ goals a season.

TBH i think it would be good for you lot... you have lacked a goalscorer recently, i think bellamy could get you the 20+ a season

Poor signing IMO, poor attitude and not really shown potential... not even comparable with the likes of Villa etc!

I expect another decent signing (along the lines of Villa or similar) so hoping he isnt the only forward signing this summer.

Without players leaving its going to be around 25mil I'd expect. Plus with players like Cisse, Kirkland and other fringe players leaving you can add another 10mil to that.

yeah, Alves will be a top signing IMO and were still being linked with Aurelio on a free too once his contract is up on July 1st. And with Gonzalez and Palleta both coming in too we have most positions covered.

Im guessing the other forward will come from Villa or Kuyt depending on cost, and then expect a few more squad and youth signings after that.

Marseille have said they are still interested. Could mean him going now for 6mil and then the value rising as he gets full fitness back. Its the only way they will get him over Lyon so they have to do it this way really.

he'd be mental not to accept an offer from any team in the Champs League, as he is never going to get the opportunity to play against europes best teams with them.

Don't know much about aurelio, seen palletta a bit and gonzalez looks like a good signing.

Are you talking about getting vila as in david vila?!

Gonzalez looks amazing, watched some of his games since Jan on Sky and his speed is like nothing ive ever seen. Kind of reminds me of a left footed C.Ronaldo without the diving and raping.

And yeah, David Villa. Would cost about 13-15mil but with what I have seen of him he could easily get 20+ golas in the Prem.

I loved him as a player when he was at Newcastle however I met him a few times socially and through business and I can safely say he is the biggest cock I have ever had the miss fortune to meet.

Hopefully seems he is a Liverpool fan, and the fact he might not get the chance to play at such a high level again he might not act like such a wanker. One things for sure is that Rafa wont stand for it and would ship him out straight away.

I honestly think he will do really well at Liverpool, especially alongside a powerful forward like Kuyt

Probably not. I think we will be alot closer to Chelsea in terms of consistency and one on one matches. But we'll always stuff up against shitty teams occasionally as its just what we do...all the time!

If we do get a decent goal scorer though then you never know, as that is all we lacked last year...the ability to kill a game when we are ontop.
