Ok, dependent on when i sell my car obviously but looking at spending 6-7k on a new motor in a few months time, ie september onwards.
Want something 6 - 7 seconds ideally to 60, something quite new too with low miles. Want it to be a nice step up from my Corsa, just not sure at all what i want.
Current top choice is an Ibiza cupra like what Nath has

I'd get this http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/cars_search.asp?page=1&nU=0&make=AUDI&model=A3&min_pr=6000&max_pr=7000&postcode=bl23du&miles=40&max_records=50&modelexact=1&photo=1
Cupra would be newer and no dobut lower milage than an A3 of similar price.

Am i right in thinking that 7th one down is a proper cupra R, didnt know they made Cupra R's in this model as they ALL seem to be cupra's.

for sure an s3 mate
for your price range clio 172/182 or the seat range
If you can stretch for an S3 - will always hold its value granted it will cost more in teh first place along with group 17 insurance

Yes they do make a mk3 Cupra-R, 200 made and only 75 in this country. I have one in black
It's a good price for that one advertised. 180bhp, 4 pot brembos, 16inch oz alloys and a few other bits and pieces. I love mine
They aren't available in Blue though, only red, yellow or black. Blue would be a normal cupra with 156bhp but they both remap the same so close to 200bhp for £300-500
