Corsa has a 2.0 lump fitted with PAS (belt and pump driven)
At a standstill and probably rolling aswell, i get a rattle/tapping at full lock either way.
Levels are up, its all new GM PAS fluid.
Could it be coming from the pump? Could the belt be too tight?

full lock puts stress on the PAS pump, mine hisses when on full lock, but never clicks...
could either be the pump or pas rack itself, as sounds like something is building pressure and then clicking back as its releasing, so could be a non return valve or something...

This is proper noisy, not really something i csan just put up with. Maybe the belt is incorrectly tensioned?

could be
or the pump/pully is coming loose, or the mounting bracket for the PAS pump cracked/broke...
but the mounting bracket is also the engine mount, so tbh dount it will be that...

it has a new offside mount and the mtech bracket for PAS. I haven't properly driven it yet so doubt its cracked. I've just moved it around a bit out the back of my garden.

Belt was loose, tightened it and no noise...
