Sounds like a scam, you should just relist your car again and do what 306CORSA said that way yo know if they are good or bad buyers

yeah make sure they put like a paypal 5-10% deposit down after the end of the auction in 24hrs etc.

Also set up your listings so that they can only bid if they have good feedback (Seller preferences)

So try and get his contact details thru ebay, go thru complaints procedure and you can get his contact details so u can ring him!!

Also you shud be able to run a complaint so that it is free to relist!!!!

I have sold 5-10 cars on ebay and they have all gone fine, but most have contacted me before biddiny/buying!!!

they take the pi55
cost £10-£15 to put on sometimes depending on the listing
then you get charged a final value fee for some wa--ker who was sat there laughin at you on the other side of the comp

THEN

they leave bad feedback and close the account
next time i do it im going to change the preferences so people cannot bid with under 100 feedback

My Dad had his Volvo on Ebay last week - Winner was a new guy with no feedback. He emailed us 2 days after he won saying he'd be down from Coventry (we're in Sussex!) at 9am Saturday with full cash payment. We didnt really believe him tbh. 8.55am Saturday - knock on our door and there he was

thats ok then
i think you can set the preferences so ppl cannot bid if they have under so much feedback but that could lose buyers??

mate dont get me wrong i disputed it for months....... they charged me something like £60 + £49 for the items, then the following month when i hadnt used ebay they wanted more (around another £46) and i refused to pay, explained my situation many times, and they basically send you automated responses saying "you owe this amount" bla bla bla. then threatened the bailifs, so i thought balls to it, pay it and never use it again.

if that ever happnes, leave some swears in the feedback asap. ebay will remove the feedback because of this and you have your perfect record again.
