either a flatbed or whatever....anyone know of any cheapies going about?

wouldnt go for a transit tbh, they are shit compared to the Iveco

We had a transit and an Iveco Daily at work, and the transit broke down about 4 times as much as the Iveco, and the Iveci could cope with weight better.

We talking new or old Iveco??

We had 8 02 reg Ivecos at work a couple of years ago and they were the worst vehicle the company have ever bought and we bought 380 of them across Europe. Mine was off the road 6 weeks after i got it and stayed that way for 3 months. They got rid after 18 months to a depot that was next to an Iveco dealer. They were supposed to last at least 10 years

That would be for heavier vehicles than AK would need recovering...

The sofa is past fun now... Its had its time Thinkign about punting it cheap after its MOT on monday

I'm only going to be working 6months of the year now, so i kinda need to have something to do

I was thinking something along the lines of starting somesort of a business to occupy myself with in spare time...

The truck would be very usefull for my trackcars though, and cheaper on fuel that the V8 guzzler.

Ideal situation is a flatbed twin axle trailor. and L200 Warrior pickup But space is an issue

Adam get a copy of Motor Market Weekly (Free motor rag found in petrol stations) They have a commercials section with flatbead recovery trucks in!!

The one I have here (few weeks old) has 4 under £2k - Merc, Ford & Layland Daf trucks - all look good for the money & are local too!!!

If you want a recent copy (they hit the shelfs every Fri) I could get one sent off to you.

pickup is called the hilux

they are cheap and bulletproof

but most of them have been owned by farmers

Not the yellow/blue paper thing....this is a free mag, about half the size of a Autotrader!!

What are the licence requirements for a 'truck'

say a flatbed transit?! Can that be driven on a Normal Car licence?
