has anyone ever

smoothed all the lines round the front?
smoothed over the badge and grille sorta extending it

and done anything else thats diffrent

Get rid of the GSi grill but leave the grill area, smooth over the recess for the badge. then extend but not bad boy the bonnet. Just like the one below.

think if your gonna smooth the bumper then the plate recess needs smoothing over aswell otherwise it ruins the smoothness.

only thing is, grille looks wrong. thats the kind of detail which would bug me...

someone needs to make a batch of badgeless GSi ones

its cos the grill area on the bumper hasn't been reshaped to suit the shape of the post 97 grill

just taken a pic, what it looks like at the moment,



also put on my 3/4 size plate, put it in two different postions to see which place looks best,
