Hi,
In December last year I bought an item on ebay from a german seller. The auction was in English and paypal was listed as a means of payment in the item description. When I went to pay, Paypal was not listed but instead I was directed to a German site to transfer the money. I can't speak/read/write German so was unable to understand exactly what to do. I emailed the seller who replied in german! I then recieved two more emails from them, these were also in German. I have now recieved a letter from what looks like a German debt collection agency!! (I cant be sure though as I can't read it!). Does anyone have any idea where I stand on this? Thanks!

I dont think you need to give much importance to that letter...just dont bother about it...On ebay, just message the seller and tell him you are not taking the item and he can leave negative feedback if he wants.

I would recommend you report the seller to ebay as it seems fraudulent

its propably sum foreign terrorist group who will have contacts in the uk and will raid your house with bombs strapped to them.

now to the more likely one... main thing is to get the letter translated into english wherever u can and go from there if its a debt collectors then im sure they can't really do much...

gd luck

If Paypal was on the listing when you bought the item and then it was removed, tough on them.

Contact Ebay immediately and they can check out the auction.
