some random guy registered on ebay as j100rsa and bought some stuff, the j100rsa off here, was going off on one saying that he had copyright on the name as he had it on here and on his numberplate, he was wrong TBPH

Hardly a big issue imo - ebay, you select a username you want & if its gone you take whatevers available!! Many a time ive tried to sign up to a site & my choice of username is gone so I take something else!!

Id be more worried about those Nigerians trying to con you out of money than someone that has the id you want!!

I personally would be pissed off, if the guy on ebay does some dodgy deals or messes anyone about its going to reflect badly on the owner of the reg.

There's absolutely no legal reason not to do it, I just think its a bit worrying for anyone whose reputation is at stake. Don't forget, Dan is not only a long standing member of the forum but also a trader offline as well, so not like its a random reg with no history.
