Hello people been a long time since Ive posted on here since starting Civic ownership. Anyway Ive become bored with the Civ and cant afford the insurance on a VTI conversion but want more power, so Ive been lookin about for something a lil faster and have seen a tidy Corsa Gsi for sale. So Im just wondering what to look for on em
Things like rust where are common spots, common engine defects, and any typical problems you have with em.
This one says it has 43k on it, very possible it could have been cloked though. Any way I can tell?
Any help is much appreciated, but please reply ASAP cause Im going to see it tonight!

if its been clocked, the chances are the steering wheel will be smooth, as will the gearknob, and the drivers seat will be worn on the bolster nearest the door
check the b pillars arent cracked, and check the chassis rails arent full of rot
engine faults, if it smokes or taps, avoid it, it'll need new tappets and/or piston rings

drivers side, under the sill trim. theres a flap down there which you lift up
on the body colour plate on the slam panel in the engine bay
and maybe on the dash on the passenger side, but im not sure with it being pre facelift
engine number is near the dipstick, and on the plate in the bay i think
