Ok anyone got any good numbers for insurance companies
Been insurered on my fathers name for the last 3 years as a named driver with liverpool victoria.
Now ive just turned 21 i thought it will be time to start on my own name.
LV told me that they will give me an introductory 1 NCB as i havent claimed as a named driver over the last 3 years. Great i thought! untill i had a quote for £1600 lol
Anyway Ive done a search on insurersupermarket and cheapest one so far is £750ish but im sure i can get it cheaper
Any good numbers out there ?
Cheers guys

Yeah, they do.
I'll be going with Direct Line this year. Over 200 quid cheaper than my renewal with admiral.

Adrian Flux, HIC and Brentacre seem to be good

I used that today. Tried to stick to the ones I knew.
Admiral and Elephant I found were quite good when I was younger (19-21) butare getting more expensive now.
Folk on here had some dodgy comment about Adrian Fux's customer services, although I've never been with them, so I don't know first hand.
Brentacre ask thousands of questions on the phone. They were the only ones to ask for the cars mileage, however, is this so that you can't say you'll do 8000 miles a year, then if you crash and they check and see you've done 20000 they'll void your policy?? Anyone know?

They'll back-date it, too.
