Anyone recommend any decent shinpads etc?
What does everyone else wear when they play.

I'm tempted to buy some with ankle pads and buy the ankle pads seperate as i like to wear my shinpads quite high.

Any pointers please

Nike total 90. I wear the great socked ones with the red shin pad, with the curled bit at the bottom so if anyone puts their studs down my shins, it deflects away from the ankles.

I use slip ins...with elasticated bandages under my socks to keep them up...and white tape also....

Mine are puma which I have had since I was 14...I dont want to get rid of them...

Also I only change my elasticated bandages at the start of each season as a little superstition....

I changed to slip ins a few seasons ago but ended up getting my ankles booted in everygame. Back to the good old all-in-ones now. Puma by the way!

Me too...even when I was younger I never found them cumfy..they were too cumbersome too...

I got away with wearing slip-ins as I played at a decent standard where people never intentionally set out to hurt you...
