right, i downloaded live messenger 8.0 a while back, and then it stopped showing me as online

so i downgraded to 7.5 (which incidentally is VERY gay) and i seem to be having the same trouble still

I'm signing in as online, and appearing online, but no-one can see me or talk to me, unless i start the conversation

WTF is going on? anyone got any ideas?

no martin c just added me, and he couldnt talk to me. its fucking gay

i just ran a virus scan, and i had 117 infections

MSN connection preferences --> privacy tab---> edit your 'allow list'

tools, options, privacy and make necessary changes
