ive put my new alloys on and everything looked ok until i looked in the wheel arch. ive noticed that the top of the wheel is quite firmly lodged underneath the suspension. look at the pic to know what i mean:

ive jacked the car up to take a pic properly but when its not up then the suspension is touching the wheel. how can i resolve this problem?

Coilovers or hydraulics required... or maybe even wheels that fit
