Next dilema........decided on the Mini, but now Colin has found another one - dunno what one to go for. I have my heart set on the blue one, it looks nicer and has new tyres, suspension, exhaust etc, but the green one is newer, less miles and cheaper.........help!!!!
1997 ROVER MINI 1.3i 2dr Cooper Saloon,
71,000 miles, Blue.Blue.Mini Cooper 1.3 sport pack, Cream leather, walnut dash, elec sun roof, s/s exhaust, new tyres and brakes, just serviced, lots of receipts & docs, year MOT, 6 months tax, a real head turner, great summer car. £3700 ono. The guy phoned back with more details......
It has new suspension
new tyres
new stainless steel exhaust
full service and mot 2 weeks ago
He has had it for 4 years, it was his mums before then
Here's the green one ........

1999 ROVER Mini Cooper ,
late 1999, 28k miles, Mot Sep, tax 03-07, racing green/Lt green leather/rosewood, one lady owner,. £3,500. ono

I prefer the blue one for colour but if the green is cheap and less miles then thats the better option, but i would view them both and see which one is in better condition

see which one has the least amount of rust/rot then decide!
make sure you pull up the carpets to check and get it on a jack to check underneath the rust like mad!

I had one of those roofs on my cheekycento, was awesome fun. You can stand up in the back and generally arse about, it was so practical at festivals as i got 3 bokes and 3 days camping gear for each bloke in the bak of it, nd it NEVER leaked!
Id get the blue one!

Colin thinks I should print off the details of the green one, tell the owner of the blue one when I go to see it that I still have the green one to go look at. Show him the details....newer, less miles, cheaper and see if he will bring his price down

if the green one is in the same condition as the blue, the blue is overpriced. you need to look at both really though

My mum was the same, she bored her engine everything, but kept having to replace pistons on it, then one day the brake line corroded and she couldnt stop lol
