Thought I'd leave it a few days till everyone else had finished putting their pics up

Our Cumbrian crew at the campsite!

The cumbrian boyo's getting ready for some quarter mile action





The red valver managed a 14.8 with a standard XE, all interior, camping gear and spare gearbox in the boot! And that was the 1st time he has been on a quarter mile so I thought that pretty decent!

The LETs couldn't get the power down. The black one managed a 14.1, said he isn't used to launching it like that and was just torque steering like crazy. He was disappointed so will be back next year and hopefully get a time more like 13.5!

I had to stop for fuel cos I misjudged how much I had left! Then they only had Optimax so had to put that in

Yeah I only put £10 in. That only got me about 9 litres

Nic - yeah Shaun got a 13.9. He got a 13.5 last year. Garys got a low 14 I think. They all seemed to have problems getting the power down until 3rd gear.

Apart from Manners red XE that just seemed to grip and fuck off!

I have videos of them that I'll put up later tonight hopefully

The joys of having a 1.2 i remember when i used to have 1.0 and it used to last me all week with only £15 petrol
