Elvington is an airfield isn't it, and York is York Raceway.

I've run at Melbourne once. I've run at Elvington about 5 times. I won't run at Melbourne again. If I pay to run I don't want to be sat in a paddock whilst some half wits decide whos going next. Elvington keep sending you down until the cut off time.

Rules have changed. You now have to become a Straightliners member to run, this costs £30 I think. To run it costs £30-£45. Its a lot dearer than Melbourne (York Dragway) but you do get a lot more runs in and you can do 1.25mile speed trap runs.
