Had enough of modded cars and i've suddenly got the urge to buy something practical and reliable
its either the huuuge wedge of sunstroke i'm suffering from or i've passed that part of my life.

Think by a certain age you get over certain things, like when you were 15/16 you liked proper done up ott modified cars then you go onto subtle modifying then after that stage its just a pracitial car

its like i think, why did i strip the car out blah blah blah... then i go out for a "spirited drive" and its big all the way, tempted to find a fully kitted out late shell with a/c and electrics and maybe start over. But theres always jap rwd turbo in the back of my mind... i dunno cars are like a disease

I am like that now, I just think when i see a kitted car, why have you ruined that!!!! I used to love them, but you do just grow out of it, and then you like subtle and fast cars.
In the end i went for practicle and realiable. It is so good not worrying about the car breaking after giving it loads, and it will get into a car park with out the bodykit smashing.

I'm the same, I use to be into all the 'kitted up' cars, now I see them and just laugh, still a few I like though.

my feelings vary from month to month
sometime i love the van, its practical, loads of mpg
but i cant chuck it into bends etc
catch 22
but i have already stopped doining major modyfying work on cars, just had enuff.
would rather save for a house and live my life a bit

he does the sort of modding i appreciate.
can tell its different, catches your eye and looks smart. Without needing a big bodykit, or anything big and in your face
