No its not.

The x16 is the same as the x18xe1
Is not the SAME as the Z18 there are differences, BIG ones.

Check EPC.

SBD westfield has an engine which hasent had to go through any stringent TUV style testing, the Z18 has

Just use the block and head bin the rest and run TB's job done. But as for revving it hi and the high stroke on it, erm un sure.

just use a 1.6 bottom end, known entety.

SBD 1.7 indeed has a short life due to the rpm's it runs, like new shell every other event and new block end of season, it does how ever make 267BHP and 148lbs.

im looking into it now.

im planning: x18xe on tb's with omex management, headwork and custom exhaust manifold. Was looking at the z18xe but the mounts will be a pain in the arse.

u sure??? the z18xe in my 1.8 sri looks different. not sure about which gearbox to use yet tho...

the mounts in the C are different, but if you look at the holes in the block just near the mounts, they are the same

i'll get some pics tomorrow if i can

the way i looked at it was...

use f13cr gearbox - 2 mounts the same
even if the engine mount is different, will it really be that hard to make a mount up?

i may have to look into this also...

al, your a special case. doing a 2lt corsa, right weve got a calibra so now what do we need? Alloys and a carbon bonnet yes!
