And some up dated pics of mine from the show- excuse the matt black front bumper, let down by a bodyshop on Friday who left it in primer so i had to spray it myself on Saturday morning.. Nice shine despite the fact that it hadn't been polished as the dust was settling as quick as i rubbed it off..

some nice pics marc, a few nice vecs too...yours is looking no bad even with the bumper like that..

Nothing happened this time, i was just supposed to be getting a few bits done (headlights fitted, bumper fixed from last smash in December , rust spots removed etc) last weekend.

I left the car with him last weekend along with a list of bits i wanted the lad to do and in the order i wanted them done - bumper was top of the list.

Monday came and he told me he had done my headlights, bonnet and scratch on rear door. Hmm, not much for 2 days work.. So i had to leave it again on Thursday night and was supposed to be finished for collection on Saturday morning.. Again i stressed that bumper MUST be done as priority.

Friday night i got home at 6pm to be told by a mate who also had his car in at same place that they were not getting sprayed as he had been told by a 3rd party that the lads compressor had broke and couldnt get fixed until Monday. He thought it was a wind up but his car was due to be finished on Friday night anyway so he went to collect his.

When he got there, he txt me to say it was true and they were both still in primer. I thought that he must've now been in on the joke so i txt him back and told him to 'fuck off' to which he sent a multimedia message of a picture of my car with a primered bumper on..

I still didn't believe him because i would've expected the lad to tell me himself if it wasn't being done as he knew how much i needed it for the weekend.. So i went up to find out whether it was true or a wind up. It was true and the lad wasn't even going to bother telling me until i turned up on Saturday morning to collect it.

So Saturday morning i was up at 5am to spray it myself. I knew it wasn't going to be great, but i figured that if people were taking pictures of the line of cars then they wouldn't be able to tell so much as atleast it would be black. Turned out as planned to be honest..
