  Fix mine, another quickish 150bhp car
  1.6 16v on Tb's
  XE, like Lee M's and myke's, run sub 15's all day and seem both to be reliable

true, just cant decide, obviously with a LET it will take twice as long to build because off £££ but could be alot better

Personally though I'd go for an XE as they tend to go wrong less and would still be a hell of a lot of fun

whats up with it again?

if you're after track days then perhaps fix it currently, then add bodies a little way down the line.

depends how much you want to save, but a turbo 2l 8v would be cool. like that isaac hunt nova. seems to be quick.

saying that i do love my xe and it's a cheap otion if you get one that'd been recently rebuilt

If you want if for drag racing then imo that rules out the 1.6 straight away. Sure, some do 14-15sec, but a 2.0/Turbo is where you can really compete against much more powerful/out of the box quicker cars.

All of the above is only my opinion, although it is fact I am sure I will be corrected. Statuary rights are not effected.
