Since we have loads of post about this, and we have all been to PVS.
easy way of working out how much and how far
So heres mine
Corsa 3lt V6 (did 70-80 all the way there in 6th)
180miles there
180miles Back
Total = 360 mile round trip
Fuel Cost
Fill up 1 - (91.9p) = £27 (29.37lts)
Fill up 2 - (93.9p) = £20 (21.29lts)
Total = £47 (50.66lts)
Worked out 32.3MPG

Distance covered: 400 miles
Litres of fuel used : 45 litres
Consumption: 40.41 Miles per Gallon
Was doing 70-75mph on the way down and on the way back I was doing 90mph for the last 150 miles of the journey home so thats not too bad really.

yes I gave you a random hand signal and pip on the horn
your car looks smarter in the metal than in the pictures!
we were on a bit of a go slow at that point as we had left our mate behind that has a Saxo VTR so were waiting for him to catch up

did about 280 miles on just over 2/4 of a tank.
Would have been less if i hadnt have got lost and done a lap of northahampton
Also using a 1.2 to try and keep up with peeps is not too good for fuel
Drives supercharged Tec with torque

I averaged 24.4mpg there and 29.9 on the way back. Filled up with BP optimax (£41) on the way there, then topped it up with Esso (£35) which was so much better than the BP fuel.
