There I am cruising down the M1 overtaking lorrys and such in my borrowed A4 this evening when all of a sudden a boy pulls up behind me wanting to over take. I can't pull in to the middle lane on the motorway because the traffic is going to slow. The boy proceeds to beep his horn and flash his lights at me in a ver anti-social manor, so when there is space I pull in to let him by. He thinks he is cool in his little 1.6 or something and has a little show off to me by reving his engine and flying past overtaking me. I don't really car because I'm in a 1.8 t. Anyway, he shoots off. I get about a mile futher down the road and guess who is on the hard shoulder having a little chat with the Police  What a silly billy.

On another note. 1.8 20v turbo engines are bloody slow. I have had harder acceleration from my 1.2 16v.

I think the A4 has probably got a pretty high top end of over 130mph, but the acceleration on it is stupidly slow. I think his little 1.6 or whatever would have beaten me  But yea, glad I didn't get carried away showing off in da rag top
