there is a page on ebay telling you what to look out for when buying lacoste. Loads of fake stuff being sold on there.

If its much cheaper than going rate its fake.
If its a bit cheaper than going rate on ebay and you pick seller carefully its most likely not fake.
This goes for anything you buy.
I dont' know how people get conned except the obvious ones like buying something then being sent soemthing totally diffreent from description which of course isn't the buyers fault.
