have heard there is a spring that can be changed to regain some lost pressure. where is it and if possible, does any one have a part number?

depend what dump valve you got i know that my mate got hold of a kind of service kit for his baileys

he means oil pressure 
M1st it's behind a bolt facing toward the front of the car in the oil pump casing.
i think you can get some oil pressure back by sticking a washer behind the spring, but double check that before you try it.
