still no engine working no spark - plan to sort that tomorrow, evidence suggests i wired up the coilpack slightly wrong 
daddy isnt a happy bunny, but then would you be with 4.5 litres of engine oil over your drive (i forgot to put the sump plug in before filling her up with oil    )
fitted sump plug, and succeeded in stripping the thread out of the sump, so i then had to remove exhaust, remove damn sump, and refit a spare one i had luckily, all while lying on my back with no room to move!
if it doesnt work tomorrow im going to cry, and hit it with a stick! bloody thing

cross thereded it and kept tightening it?
seriously gutted mate changing a sump is a tedious job

i normally feed it by hand then do it hand tight or whatever torque settings in haynes.

i wound it in by hand, and then tightened it up and SNAP there goes the thread 
still no spark, not got a clue whats wrong now. coil has 3 wires, 1 should be 12v, and 2 trigger wires. mine has 2 live wires and another wire, that goes live when connected as if the coil is shorting the lot out
looking like no PVS for me
