right, i already have one, on the yellow car, which i got for my 18th birthday
i am considering transfering it to my new car, but im not sure how much it will cost, is it JUST 80 quid? or is it 80 quid to get the old plate back on the yellow one and another 80 quid to put the plate on the new car?
if its gonna cost me 160 quid, i'd probably be better buying another plate yes?
i like the idea of a fleet of similar plates
edit: just thought, the yellow car is SORN, so this might pose a few problems with transfering... but i'm not sure... anyone know?

i think that to Mark, car HAS to be on the road to transfere plates,
but then it will be one payment of £80
Should have asked MAV he has swapped that plate about 4 times haha

i want to put a private plate on my new car Gaz, and the easiest way would have been to take it off the yellow one, but if i cant do that, i'll just buy T20 REM for myself

20 would be because its for my 20th birthday
and a T reg corsa C? hmmmm....
T18 REM is on the yellow car and was for my 18th
T20 REM is cheap and seems like a logical one to have

Im sure you would be able to swap it over,
for instance if you wrote your car off and bought a new one they cant say ah that car is now written off that 10k plate is now ours again
im under the impression you would have like 3-6 months from when you sorn the car to transfer the plate over
