Rescue diver is the next step to get to, Enriched Air and Nitrox are handy
I dive on Nitrox all the time, had to in oz and egypt or i wouldnt have been able to dive after 2 days or fly home

Still around 40 metres is considered limit but diving on Nitrox does allow you to go slightly deeper and for longer.
Mine and Kerry's aim is to get to Master Scuba Diver

Enriched ive done 60 metres
there really is no need to go deep unless on a wreck
red sea, barrier reef everything is at 5-15 metres colour wise
I only use nitrox so i can do 4+ dives a day and for 2 weeks

I have always wanted to get into diving. My Bro-in-law used to do it and used to tell me all the cool stuff he saw etc. And as I have an interest in wildlife etc......
Whats the first step to get into it? Brad?

Perhaps you should learn to read before you make an idiot of yourself again.

In the uk - go find your nearest BSAC diving branch
will be the local swimming pool at a guess and they will have a 1 hour pool slot weekly
go down ask some questions, pick up a pack then enlist - warning you will need to rent or buy the gear and go UK diving to get the qualification, and will porbably cost about 1k all in i would say
or go to places like sharm el sheikh in egypt to a PADI school - do an open water course - 5 days and about £400 including all gear and the hotel!
You will then need to do a Padi Advanced open water this will enable you to dive with another advanced open water diver which would be ace so you can do your own dives as such and your buddy wont be an instructor!
The UK side of it is good, if you can fork out for the equipment and weekends away diving! which is what BSAC is designed for
PADI - is to get you into the water and qualified in a week, preferbly abroad
Im a PADI Divemaster and a BSAC Advanced diver, which means i can take people in for there 1st dives etc
