I have about 12 pairs including shoes etc collected over about 5 years and mygrumpy old git of a dad seems to think i should have my dick chopped off cos i'm like a female and always buying trainers!  Had a massive arguement and he was saying they are a wasted of money etc, so i commented that he had spent 100x more on cigs in the last 5 years and had nothing to show for it. But he's an opinionated old sod that will never change.
Tried explaining that it was normal behavior but he just didn't get it. He's 63 and it really shows.

I must admit that its mostly girls that have tones of shoes but I havent really come across anybody that would even think 'oh ill count my shoe collection'

but 10 ish, but most my trainers are cheap converse, vans, etnies ect, wouldnt dream of paying more than about 40 quid for a pair and even that is almost unheard of lol
