I feel a bit sorry for the guy. As he is either going to be a hero or zero.
He should never of been put in the squad with never playing a Prem game in his life, Im not sure what Wenger told Sven but it must of been something good to get him in there above more experienced players.

My point was that the FA set up still didnt believe Owen to be good enough to play on the world stage.
Same then, same now in young players respect.
The fact he hasnt had a first game for the gooners is largely irrelevant....they do, after all, have quite a few 'good' players in that dept

everyone of those players has pressure on them all year during the regular season, and are paid enough to learn to handle it. They are, on paper, one of the best squads in the world and have as much expectancy on them as they deserve IMO.
But still, I agree (as I said in my first post in this thread) that its ridiculous the views on him already.
