From what ive seen there (dont follow chelski) he needs to play it wide more often...or at least shuffle it up a bit

Im not even sure its the wider balls. Its normally just the simple short passes where he should just knock it 5-10yards to someone in space, but he tries to run with it and either looses it or ends up just kicking it away.
Dont get me wrong I do think he is great, just one part of his game he could improve to become ALOT better.
