I second this. . or you will push to stop and run 500 yards down the road before they even begin to start working. . .

The whole car. Sell the 1.0 and buy a 1.4. It's a bloody pointless conversion.

The 1.0 brakes are no less powerful than the 1.4 ones.

depends if the brakes on the 1.0 are vented same as the 1.4's. as far as i'm aware all the 16v have vented discs.... although not sure if its the 16v's or standard in all 4 valve per cylinder jobbies.

As far as I'm aware all face lift Corsa's have ventilated disks. My 1.2 does. I can't remember about my 1.0 though.

its not for me, its a m8 of mine who have destroyed(couldnt find a better word with my crappy english ) hes 1.0 and he heard about repairing it but that would cost about £1k, and i have a x14xe since my corsa is runing with a xe. So it would be much easier for him just to take over my x14xe than pay the repairs..

its worth doing as the 1.4 16v is a good engine. The only real problem is the wiring. Eveythoing else is a direct swap from the 1.4 but you will need a 1.4 rad and all the 1.4 coolant hoses, as well as the ususal stuf!
