He'd get in every countries SQAUD (SQAUD not first necessarily first XI), and about every first eleven bar maybe Brazil's, as they aren't short of attacking players.
And yes, yes we do need him. Maybe not in the group stages, but in the latter rounds, assuming we get that far.

Later in the tournament we'll need him, i think he's the difference between winning and loosing.
Far play if we went all the way without him, but if we dont get that far, everone will be saying 'if only we had rooney'
He'll be playing, but i wouldn't expect to see him at all during the group stages, providing we get past that, i think his first game will be the final 20mins, slowly work him in, see how he goes.

Its been bought forward to that date too. It was 14th June, its now 2 days before the date Sven has to decided wether to take him or not. Before the date change he wouldve been going regardless. Wonder whats going to happen if its not good news.

its not as bad as it could be without him, however i feel sven will be a nob and play crouch.
i feel gerrard playing behind owen would work with lampard behind that and carrick holding.
crouch is a waste of a man on the pitch

Chill Mr, I was messing about. To be fair his comment about Rooney was silly.
I am intrerested as to where i've ever said we'll win it though. I'd put money on us not winning it if anything, but you go on believing all English people think we'll win the World Cup
