insureance wanted £1500 a year for me on a 2.0 corsa which is twice as much as iam payin now so is it worth it?

They are fun but dont expect something insane. I got used to the power pretty quickly,but thats just when the tuning bug bites

I went for a 1.4 8v SRi to the C20XE and didnt regret paying the extra insurance, think mine was about the same cos i was only 18 when i got the valver.

I doubt a C20XE Corsa would keep up with a CTR to be honest, power to weight isn't the same

A few little mods and u'd be surprised. Full system, chip and a decent induction kit and u'll keep up with them up until about 80mph.

Deffo worth it for a bit fun.... go for it..

And on the CTR debate i only played with one once and I kept up with it 40-100 and then we had to brake.....thats my experience...

As for scoobys, on the strip i raced a uk spec one and he didnt pass me right till the end.
