I need to get a windscreen to replace my cracked one by thursday, wheres the best place to get a new replacement? How good are the perspex ones, or just for rallying really? (just thought if i got to replace it anyway might as well get a lighter one if theres not much difference)

All windscreens have to be glass to be legal - are you insured on it? you can call your insurance and pay £50ish excess and they will pay the rest and sort out for someone to come out, just had a new one fitted to mine on fri

Fair enough. Hadnt thought of ringing insurance, it wont change the no claims or anything will it? WIll have to give em a ring on tues and find out

Nah doesnt harm your insurance, im on my 3rd screen now
