erm anybody who has covered this in some sort of computing degree. Im stuck, i need either a good site or a power point show, showing me what they are and why they are so good. As i have an exam on it and they havent supplied us with the material to do so.

They wouldn't be able to question you on it if it wasn't covered.
Is it functional programming by any chance.
And you have definetely not bothered looking for it because there is a whole internet filled with anything you can find on a computing course.

there is a whole internet of porn but i dont search for it all the time.

They will ask us a question on it as they stated that we have to research it up. I will look for it later if nobody has got any info on it. Im not telling people to go out and get info, im just wondering if anybody has covered it at uni.

Is it functional programming?
Sets could be anything and I know map is a function in haskell.
If so I could get you notes on it.

Just search for functional programming sets and map, its all uni sites with notes that come up in google.
