didnt go to bad, asked if we were getting a new employee to fill chris shoes (he left last week)
then told him i was "looking for a wee, well a considerable payrise actually as i no people doing less work and earning twice my salary"
said he would look into it, see what he comes back to me with
 i wld imagine

my boss came in last week an told me he's jus got himself a brand new fat boy with all the extras so i thought if he can aford that an a new pick truck since xmas time i ask for a pay rise still said no......... gutted

have been in an office 2.5 years. On site on and off for 6 years (dad is a developer)
and did a 2 year HND at college
is a small company i work with. just me the boss and the secretary now. He was on holiday for a week and a half. came back friday there. I was left to run the office and keep all the jobs going, which i now have to do anyway as he doent do any drawing
all he does is opens mail, reads paper, has a meeting or 2 and generally is always 'just nipping out'

In the Architectural business you get paid what you are worth tbh
I employ architectural technicians.....they range from a decent tea boy to somebody who can do some schedules and low level drawings.
Tea boy=17k if they are useful in other areas
A technician that can ACTUALLY help get a job out £12-14/hour.
Decent technologists these days are like rocking horse shit
