As some of you know I recently turned 18. I just took out a new policy with Quinn paying £75 a month in my own name, TPF&T with no ncb.
I was happy when I was told if I added a performance exhaust that it would not affect my policy. Only what really tickled my willy was the fact she said it covers me third party to drive any other private motor vehicle.
Surely a mistake?! Anyone wanna lend me there xe?

check the small print - theres normally an attachment relating to power/engine size or value of the car in question
plus who in their right mind would lend someone an XE or any car for that matter when they were only covered third party on it

Doesn't the owner of the car you want to drive have to name you as a driver too?
Or can you literally jump in any car with the owners consent
