I have become ill and it is the worst i have been in a long time

Gaz had headache and sore throat the past couple of days, and it seems like i have caught it off him although serverly worse..

My throat isn't to bad, all my head is terrible... Everytime i move my head it starts thumping, and i cant open my eyes due to the fact i feel really dizzy, and i am soo weak its unreal

Can't eve climb the stairs, without hurting myself....

And also felt really sick before so tried to make meself sick, although i think i tensed my stomach muscles to much and i was in so much pain could stand up proper or sit down for about 15 mins..

I am also freezing inside, although sweating bukets outside, Took 8 tablets today so far, and all the doctor gave me is them ibropofen (spelling), although i cant take these as i have a phobia of swallowing things whole and have to cut up a normal tablet in four..

My temperature is 39 degress, i think i am on my way out.... Sorry about the rant

I'm feeling a little better today, i have taken so many tablets

just cold inside but hot on the outside, have a slight headache and a blocked nose now

Mine.. i said to him that i cannot swallow large tablets, especially with my tonsils as swollen as they are. so when i go and get my prescription he goes and gives me some Ibrofen (spelling), one of the largest bloody tablets going

You can crush Ibiprofen and put it in juice or something..if you can swallow it.

the reason it affects men more is because we are hardly ever ill so its abit of a killer when it does strike

I had similar symptoms in January, my doctor gave me Penicillin for my tonsils, and I just took normal cold/flu tablets from Boots as well, was off work for a week though!

But as Mark says, men don't really get ill a lot, in my case I only get something bad like this once a year, I haven't been off work sick since January.
