Look at where the front wheel's sitting...u sure its not twisted anything??

Its going to cost a fortune either way & if he's paying 2k to insure it just now then whats it going to be once they write it off

Harsh luck That looks nasty. dodgy brake bias?
Was a nice example

You would understnad if you were his mate, he aint the sort of person to speed around all over the place, and he took so much care in the car, he lives in a nice area but still puts in the garage everynight incase it rains which is a quarter of a mile down the road.

Yes Jambo seems it was a dodgy brake bias unfortunatly what caused it, went to look at the car today and its a total loss , so rang insurance there giving him a call back and hopefully he will have some money to get a new car in a couple of days, he reckons he'll go for a mk3 golf, or a Astra Gsi even a Corsa was mentioned.... so atleast he is looking up i suppose.

What happens if you write a car off and you have a private plate on it?

Someone told me if its a total loss then you've lost the numberplate aswell but that doesn't seem very fair to me so hope its not true!

He is getting either 3 points or going on a 2-3 day training scheme he his hoping for the training as being only 18 and passed his test a month ago he could do without the points.

It pisses me off becuase if a 50 year old was to have the same accident the police wouldn't do feck all about it

He use to drive a 106 (Wriiten off), my sister was in the car with her baby at the time of the accident they were fine though even though the baby took the impact it could of been alot worse. It was in Christchurch somewhere.
My bro was pretty depressed about it all due to having the baby in the car. But he wasn't driving recklessly as they were in the car. He just misjudged a situation, like we all do but unfortunatley he didn't get a way with it.

Thats harsh. Sounds like he got unlucky.

Problem with Christchurch is its full of old people and the roads are so shitty that way in terms of lay out etc. Been in a few close calls myself that way.

Did you ever get that Audi? I had a blue one driving behind me the other day and he turned off to where you live, so I wondered!
