It really annoys me when people bitch about animal testing. I was just watching something on the news that said 2 million mice were being used and tested on, for things like possible cures to diabetes and other illnesses.
Personally, I'm all for animal testing - at the end of the day a product has to be tested before being marketted. It's not like the animal's are being stolen from your home and tested on, these animals are breeded specifically for this purpose so A ) they know no different and B ) they wouldn't have even been born if it wasn't for the testers
Just all these people bitch about how cruel animal testing is? but who you going to test the products on if not animals? If it's released without testing a cure for diabetes could end up killing loads of people  and I can't imagine they'd be too happy about that.
I'd like to see the anti animal testing people volenteer to be tested on 
There's too many people that moan about animal testing or people hunting and killing animals - but hang on? what are you eating at dinner - just because it came from tesco's doesn't mean it wasn't a nice live animal before

i dont think animals should be tested on for things like cosmetics but as far as testing on animals goes for medical research i think people who disagree with it are pretty selfish

I bet these anti testing twats still use things like deodrant, medicine etc etc don't they realise that the stuff they probably use has been tested on animals

I disagree with testing on animals for cosmetic purposes but I take pills when I feel ill so can't really complain about that can I. Although I was looking at a website with pictures of animal testing once and my parents dog was sat next to me and I kept looking at his face and thinking awww
Oh and animal rights extremists should be strung up for some of their behaviour! How can they justify injurring a human in the name of animal rights? Crazy fuckers!

We have protestors loads at work because we test on animals (Pharmaceuticals) is bloody annoying as we cant leave.
Apparently, everyone knows at least one person who wouldnt be alive today if it wasnt for the drugs they've taken.

yes animals should be tested on i agree for disises ect,(not for cosmetics) but when 70 % (fact) of the animals are being abused and ill treated its not right. 
I think you will find alot of people campaign for the animals welfair alot more than they do on the testings.
Also its been proven 90% of test tested on rodents never work on humans as they are so differnet.

If they were using dogs that had been brought from a litter etc then yes i disagree
there bred for the purpose to be abused daily
and yes Paul i wonder how many of them would step forward to be tested on.

you shouldnt believe all the hype surrounding the mistreatment of animals used for testing cos most live a better life than me and you
a place local to me that conducts this sort of research (cant name it for security purposes) gives the animals a damn better life than a lot of is could afford

why cant scientist work together to find a cure, not work seperately, so then they do not have to use as much animals as they do.
